120 middle and high school teachers attended the Argument Driven Inquiry workshops. Participants learned the limitations of typical laboratory instruction and why ADI can help students develop the knowledge and skills they need to be proficient in science. Teachers were tasked with the question “Why do two cities located at the same latitude and near a body of water have such different climates?” OR “What type of greenhouse gas emission reduction policy will different regions of the world need to adopt to prevent the average global surface temperature from increasing by 2 degrees Celsius between now and the year 2100?”
