In October, ESD 112 hosted multiple NGSS and Climate Science Workshops in Camas, WA. Teachers learned about the population of pika that live in the Columbia River Gorge in order to help answer the driving question: “How can we mitigate the impacts of climate change on local plant and animal populations?” At the first session (A) on October 3, 2018,100 elementary teachers participated in a NGSS and Climate Science Workshop.
